Job summary

Labcorp in Cedar Point, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and delivering high-quality patient service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training; 6 months+ experience preferred. The shift is Monday–Friday 7:30am-3:00pm with potential overtime and travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months’ or more experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned
