Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Eden, NC. The role involves blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, specimen handling, and providing friendly, professional service to patients.

Work schedule includes Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday 8am-7pm with 30 Min Lunch, Friday 8am-12pm with no lunch. Travel to additional sites may be required; Labcorp offers opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
