Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, processing specimens for testing, managing logs, and traveling to additional sites as needed. A phlebotomy certification or equivalent training is required, with a preference for 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months experience.
• Proven customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Assist with administrative tasks and travel to other sites when needed.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Phlebotomy certification

Completed phlebotomy training program

3+ months phlebotomy experience

Strong customer service orientation

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently or in a team
