Job summary

Labcorp in Warrenton, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens, and handle data entry and billing as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1+ year experience is preferred. Work at patient service centers or client sites with potential travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
