Labcorp in Martinsville, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, and provide accurate data entry and patient service.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and an incentive plan. Pay ranges from $17.75 to $26.00 per hour with potential growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or completed training, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred qualifications include 1+ year phlebotomy experience and proven customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
