Job summary

Labcorp in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform skilled blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and enter patient data accurately while delivering excellent service to patients and clients.

The position requires high school diploma or GED, plus phlebotomy training or certification. Weekdays with some overtime and potential travel to other sites are included.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy duties including blood collection by venipuncture/capillary
• Strong data entry accuracy for patient information
• Excellent customer service and communication with patients

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
