Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Hoboken, NJ. The role involves performing blood collections, handling specimens, and delivering excellent customer service in a patient-facing setting.

Responsibilities include data entry, billing, specimen preparation, and travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy experience are required, with preferred candidates having 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
