Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Simpsonville, SC. The Phlebotomist will perform skilled specimen collection, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of Labcorp in patient service centers or client offices.

The role requires phlebotomy certification or training and offers opportunities for growth within the organization. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
