Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at the PSC in Greeneville, TN. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with responsibilities including phlebotomy collection, data entry, and patient service.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen handling, and collaboration with a professional team in a diagnostic setting. Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training; growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
