Labcorp in Columbia, SC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform blood collections, ensure specimen integrity and deliver friendly service to patients.

This role requires compliance with safety and privacy standards, ability to work with diverse age groups, and reliable data entry for patient records. Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist preferred.
• 6 months+ phlebotomist experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
