Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our San Tan Valley team at North Gantzel Road, AZ 85140. The role involves venipuncture, specimen collection, data entry, and patient services in a client office setting.

Work schedule is Monday–Thursday 8:00 am–5:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am–12:00 pm with potential overtime. Phlebotomy certification or training is preferred, and color vision testing is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• 1 year or more experience in an Obgyn setting is preferred.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
