Job summary

Labcorp in Anthem, AZ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods, and ensure accurate data entry and patient service.

You will collect specimens for drug screens and other tests, maintain logs, and travel to additional sites as needed. A phlebotomy certification or training is preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training preferred.
• 3+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience with LabCorp is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug tests, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in the system accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
