Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Umatilla, OR. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain patient records, delivering superior customer service.

The schedule runs Mon–Fri with some overtime; minimum qualification is a high school diploma, and a phlebotomy certification or completed training program is preferred. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• 3 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
