Job summary

Labcorp in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, maintain patient records, and provide outstanding customer service while traveling to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or training, or 6 months of experience. Preferred: 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods.
• Collect specimens for drugs, tests, alcohol and related analyses.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
