Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in New Haven, IN, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule and rotating Saturdays. You will perform blood collections across age groups, collect specimens for tests, and handle data entry and billing as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; phlebotomy certification or training acceptable.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program or 3+ months experience required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills demanded.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
