Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Hamilton, OH team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry. The position emphasizes strong customer service and teamwork.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
