Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in a Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm schedule. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections, ensuring accurate patient data entry, and delivering excellent customer service in either a Patient Service Center or client office.

You will handle specimen processing, billing support, and travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma or GED with phlebotomy certification or relevant training is required, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
