Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 560 W Putnam Ave Porterville, CA 93257. The role offers a Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm schedule with potential overtime and weekend requirements.

You will perform venipuncture, collect various specimens, enter patient data, and assist with billing while delivering top-tier patient service. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid CA phlebotomy license; bilingual Spanish/English skills and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
• 1+ month of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
