Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Pleasant Hill, CA. The role involves venipuncture and capillary blood collection across all age groups, with data entry and specimen processing to support accurate testing.

The ideal candidate holds a valid California phlebotomy license and a High School diploma or GED, with strong communication and customer service skills. Travel to additional sites may be required; 2-week California training is anticipated.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Valid California State phlebotomy license is required.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
