Job summary

Labcorp in Madison, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for screens, and enter data accurately.

A high school diploma or GED, or a phlebotomy certification is required, with opportunities for growth within Labcorp's network. You will work at patient service centers or client sites, provide excellent customer service, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification, or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
