Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.
In lieu of work experience, certification/training must come from an accredited agency.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Enter patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Travel to additional sites when required.
