Job summary

Labcorp in Concord, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, collect specimens for tests, and provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients in a fast-paced setting. The role includes data entry, billing support, and handling specimens with accuracy.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating Saturdays. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training are required, with opportunity for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
