Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Gastonia, NC team. In this role you will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens, and provide excellent customer service in a Patient Service Center or Client office.

The position involves data entry, billing preparation, and maintaining logs, with a schedule Monday to Friday 7:00am–6:00pm and rotating Saturdays. High school diploma or GED and phlebotomy training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent phlebotomy certification or training.
• 6 months+ phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a color vision test and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and other tests.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
