Job summary

Labcorp in Huntersville, NC seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide excellent patient service, and support administrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Role requires phlebotomy training or certification and a commitment to accuracy, safety, and teamwork. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency may substitute for work experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
