Job summary

Labcorp in Concord, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide skilled specimen collections and patient service in a Patient Service Center or client office, serving as the face of Labcorp and delivering exceptional customer care.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, process billing and data entry, and support specimen handling. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating Saturdays; HS diploma or phlebotomy cert required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
