Job summary

Labcorp in Concord, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform skilled specimen collections in a Patient Service Center or Client office and provide outstanding customer service, acting as the face of Labcorp.

The position offers a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule with rotating Saturdays, opportunities for growth, and eligibility for the PST Incentive Plan. A phlebotomy certification or training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
