Job summary

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays; requires high school diploma or GED, or a formal phlebotomy program, and good communication and customer service skills. Travel to additional sites may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or Phlebotomy certification/training; or 3+ months experience.
• Completed phlebotomy training from an accredited program if no work experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
