Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Main Street in Chester, MD. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages and collect specimens for testing, while ensuring accurate data entry and exceptional patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1 year of experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–12:30pm with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
