Labcorp in Warrenton, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, prepare specimens for testing, enter patient data accurately, and provide excellent customer service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or completed training, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred candidates have 1+ year of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a color vision test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
