Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program; or 3+ months experience.
• Preferred 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.
• Certification or training from an accredited agency is acceptable in lieu of work experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient service and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity and alcohol tests.
• Enter patient data accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative duties and travel to other sites as required.
