Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and support data entry and billing tasks. Opportunities exist for growth within the organization.

The role requires flexible shifts, with a 25-hour weekly schedule, Monday through Friday 7am-12pm, plus rotating Saturdays. Travel to additional sites may be necessary. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
