Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and serving as the face of Labcorp. The position offers opportunities for growth within the organization.

Schedule is 20 hours weekly, with Saturdays and rotating weekdays from 6:30am-10:30am, plus 7am-11am on location. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
