Job summary

Labcorp in Spring Hill, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups and provide exceptional customer service as the face of Labcorp.

The role offers a Monday-Friday, AS NEEDED schedule with a maximum of 19 hours per week. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training are required, with travel to additional sites as needed and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program is preferred
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other duties as assigned
