Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist for overnight, full-time shifts. The role involves venipuncture for inpatients and outpatients, specimen collection, labeling, and entering data into LIS using SunQuest and Epic systems.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy training, and preferred phlebotomy certification (ASCP eligible preferred). Strong manual dexterity and excellent client relations are expected.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy training or internship completed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience with LIS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register and order specimens into LIS.
• Verify and enter patient/test information into LIS.
• Generate barcode labels and print lists.
• Perform phlebotomy on inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Process and prepare specimens for referral labs.
