Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of phlebotomy training program preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; ASCP eligible preferred.
• Experience with SunQuest and Epic recommended.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to follow procedures.
• Excellent client relations and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Register and order specimens into LIS.
• Perform phlebotomy on inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Process and package specimens for referral laboratories.
• Maintain accurate records of processes and monitor workflow.
• Ensure inventory of supplies and equipment.
