Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification and specimen labeling, processing, and transport.
• May assist in patient care during emergencies in inpatient settings.
• Communicates with patients and care teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Handles sharps and biohazardous materials per regulations and HIPAA.
