Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Abington, PA team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle specimens for various tests, and maintain accurate patient data and billing records.

Your role centers on delivering excellent patient service while supporting lab workflows. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a Phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience).

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills and patient-focused service.
• Strong communication and data-entry accuracy.
• Ability to travel to additional sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
