Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Frazer, PA team. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am–12:30pm with rotating Saturdays, performing venipuncture and capillary collections and providing excellent patient service.

You will collect specimens, enter patient data accurately, and support billing and administrative tasks while traveling to additional sites as needed. Labcorp offers growth opportunities and an incentive plan for performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
