Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Abington, PA team. The role will involve blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and supporting billing processes, with travel to additional sites as needed.

You will interact with patients and healthcare providers, delivering accurate, friendly service in a fast-paced setting. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or relevant training.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel to additional sites when needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
