Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Newtown, PA to perform blood collection via venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups. The role includes specimen handling, data entry, billing support, and exceptional patient service in a client-facing setting.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm with rotating Saturdays; travel to additional sites is required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• In lieu of work experience, certification/training from an accredited agency is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
