Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Dracut, MA. The role involves blood collection via venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, with a schedule of Monday–Friday 7:00 am–11:00 am and rotating Saturdays.

You will also perform data entry, process billing, and prepare specimens for testing. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training, or 6+ months' experience as phlebotomist.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs of patient and specimen data.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
