Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist for hospital/in-patient work in Boston, MA. Schedule: Monday–Friday 5:00 am–1:30 pm with rotating weekends. You will perform venipuncture and capillary draws, collect specimens for tests, enter data accurately, and support billing processes.

Travel to additional sites may be required. Strong communication and customer service are essential. The role requires a high school diploma, plus phlebotomy certification or training (or 6+ months experience).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
