Job summary

IVI RMA North America in Palo Alto is seeking a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to support our fertility care team. The role offers full-time hours, a structured schedule, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a specialized clinical setting.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months of MA experience in a physician practice, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and prefer experience in women’s health. EMR experience is a plus; weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice.
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Job Description

IVI RMA North America, a leader in reproductive medicine, is seeking a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to support our growing Palo Alto practice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a highly specialized clinical environment while making a meaningful impact on patients during an important and emotional chapter of their lives.

In this role, you’ll work alongside physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver compassionate, high‑quality fertility care. We’re looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, patient‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced medical setting where teamwork and empathy are essential.

Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands‑on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.
