Job summary

IVI RMA North America is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our Paramus location opening in the fall. Training starts in Englewood. Schedule: Monday–Friday 5:30am–1:30pm with rotating Sundays.

You will support physicians and the clinical team, assist with procedures, document ultrasound findings, and help maintain clean, stocked exam rooms to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice.
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Document ultrasound measurements and provider comments
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Specimen collection and processing for in-house and outside laboratories
• Manage outside lab results and notify providers
• Provide patient information and reassurance before, during and after procedures

Full-Time Clinical Assistant

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

IVI RMA North America is looking for a Full-Time Clinical Assistant/Phlebotomist to work in our new Paramus location opening in the fall. Training would start in our Englewood office. This position is Monday-Friday from 5:30am-1:30pm with rotating Sundays in Englewood.

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands‑on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice

Technical Skills:

• knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required
• EMR experience - preferred
