Job summary

IVIRMA Global is seeking a Full-Time Phlebotomist to join our Princeton, NJ clinic. The role involves drawing blood for laboratory work related to infertility diagnosis and treatment.

You will work Monday–Friday from 5:30am–1:30pm with rotating weekends/holidays in Eatontown and cross-train as a Clinical Assistant. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting, EMR proficiency, and a Phlebotomy Program certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' recent venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program (certification preferred in some states).

Responsibilities

• Identify patients.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Label and centrifuge specimens.
• Store and transport specimens maintaining integrity.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Maintain clean, stocked phlebotomy area.
• Reassure patients and provide comfort.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

IVI RMA has a need for a Full-Time Phlebotomist to join our Princeton, NJ clinic. This role works Monday-Friday from 5:30am-1:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays in Eatontown. This role will be cross-trained as a Clinical Assistant.

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training:

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required
