Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in Fort Smith, AR 72903. This is a full-time contract position with a Mon - Fri 08:00 AM- 5:00 PM CST schedule.

The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collection, specimen processing, and data retrieval in a patient service setting. Minimum 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, HS diploma or equivalent, pediatric/geriatric collections included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
• Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
