Job summary

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in St. Louis, MO. Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:30am-2:30pm, Fri 8:30am-2:00pm, rotating Saturdays.

The role involves venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and ensuring excellent patient service across patient service centers or client offices. PST incentive plan may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; phlebotomy training or certification.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed program, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
