Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Floater Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare team in Eden Prairie, MN. This contract position runs for 14 weeks with a Mon–Fri schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. The role involves venipuncture and specimen collection across adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients, ensuring proper labeling, HIPAA compliance, and accurate recordkeeping.

Travel between PSCs may be required. Compensation is $24.95–$26.75 per hour with weekly gross pay and applicable lodging

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Weekly gross pay is based on a taxable hourly wage and daily lodging and meals & incidentals stipends based on USA GSA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and adult blood collections.
• Collect, label, process, and package clinical and forensic specimens.
• Verify patient identification, demographics, and required signatures.
• Maintain accurate records and specimen integrity.
• Follow HIPAA, safety, quality, and established collection protocols.
• Provide professional patient care and excellent customer service.
• Travel between PSCs, physician offices, and assigned locations as needed.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
