Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III Floater to support our client’s medical facility in Wayzata, MN. This temp-to-hire role offers a consistent schedule, with a standard 40-hour workweek and pay between $24.95 and $26.75 per hour.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric draws, and a high school diploma. Medical training is preferred; on-site work in a clinical setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.

• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III Floater to support our client's medical facility, based in Wayzata MN 55391

This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Wayzata MN 55391

Schedule: Central 8:00am-5:00pm (40hrs/week)

Pay Range: $24.95 - $26.75/hr

(Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
