Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Donor Care Technician III to create comfortable and efficient donation experiences. You will interview donors, determine eligibility, perform phlebotomy, and help rebook donors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 6 months of previous Donor Care Tech experience.
• Training on Trima Blood Collection Systems.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform donor interviews and appropriately determine donation eligibility.
• Participate in donor rebooking activities.
• Perform whole blood, double red cell, platelet and plasma phlebotomy of donors per SOPs.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
• Assist and support other team members on Mobile and Fixed Sites.
• Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal care.
